Here you will find links to both packaged binary releases as well as source archives with enclosed documentation. For maximum convenience you should probably use the version of Yoshimi provided by your distributions package manager, but if you want to live on the bleeding edge you can compile it yourself using the source archives provided. Read the doc/INSTALL file in said archives for further instructions.

Get it with git

If you are comfortable using the git version control system, you can clone the very latest version of the source and compile it. Be aware that bugs sometimes sneak into the code between releases.
